Client: Medical Device Distributor
Overview: BLC’s client was looking for sales commission software because on a monthly basis they utilized a series of automated and manual processes to calculate commissions on medical device sales. This process involved pulling information from their practice management system, loading into spreadsheets and applying a variety of rules and calculations. They asked Black Line to propose a solution that will automate this process to address the primary deficiencies and provide a platform for growth and scalability.
Challenges: The previous process was highly manual and required a considerable time and effort to produce. In addition, this process had to be completed early in the month, so timing was critical and issues with the process were sometimes very problematic.
How Product Helped: The new sales commission software automates commission calculation, central and standardized commission rules and processes accurately produces commission statements and provides platform for future growth and scale.
